Markos Kapsabelis joins Pireaus Lions.

Giorgos Aggelinas The Orient Express

Giorgos had a magnificent performance (9-10 of May) in Finland(Espoo).
He made a world record 3 out of 3 wins in a FISTF circuit. He was just unstoppable and he lifts all the trophies as he won IO and GP in the open category and the GP in the veterans. In the same weekend Argyris Poulidis had an average performance. He finished third in the veterans, and stayed on the groups and on the barrage stage in the open.

Team Greek championship (day 2)

The day 2 (out of 3) of the team champion was played in Ilioupoli at 26th of April. Kickers played 4 games and we manage to win 2 (Lions and AEK) and lost another 2 (Falcons, Atlas).
At the end of day 2, we lay in the 4th place of the table.
The table is: 1 Falcons 30, 2 Atlas 24, 3 Roligans 24, 4 Kickers 15, 5 Aek 15, 6 Lions A 6, 7 Mirmidones 3, 8 Lions B 0.

2 Wild Cards for Kickers

Two Athens Kickers players, the best Greek under 15 player Giannis Vlassopoulos and the best Greek veteran Giorgos Aggelinas managed to gain wild cards for the next World cup (Rotterdham).

Patras Cup

The 1st Patras Cup in one open category was played in city of Patra Sunday April 25th. The Athens Kickers participated with 5 players.

Kapsabelis Markos was the big winner!

Vlassopoulos Thanasis was 4th.

Vlassopoulos Giannis passed the group but was excluded at last 8.

Koulosousas Serafeim and Koulosousas Dimitris stayed in the groups.

National tournament Dimitris Salamouris

The 2nd National tournament in the Open and the U15 category was played in Piraeus Sunday April 12th.
The Kickers dominated once more the U15 category. The usual suspect Giannis Vlassopoulos was once more the winner in the youngsters. Dimitris Koulosousas reached the semi finals, Manos Kapsabelis stayed in the barrage and Tasos Maroulas didn’t manage to qualify from the groups.
In the Open Aggelos Tsakiris returned to the good performances and reached the semis in division one. Giorgos Aggelinas stayed in the barrage, as Thanasis Vlassopoulos and Marcos Kapsabelis in the groups in the same category.
In division two Argyris Poulidis lost in the groups and Serafim Koulosousas finish third.
